Born from a flame in the heart.
Flames was founded by Zack and Carla Nasnas. The recipes are Carla's, passed down through her family for generations. Zack brought years of experience opening and building restaurants around the world.
In 2019, a heart attack nearly took Zack's life. Doctors gave him a 20% chance. From that hospital bed, the idea became a plan, and Zack and Carla formed Flames Mediterranean Grille.
They built it together as a family while Mikee and Tiana were still young, with one goal: a legacy to pass on to their kids and grandkids. Today the whole family runs Flames in Melbourne and Vero Beach, with Flames Waterfront coming soon to Cocoa Beach.

Zack Nasnas
Zack brought years of experience opening and building restaurants around the world. In 2019, after surviving a heart attack and open-heart surgery, he and Carla turned the idea for Flames into a plan from his hospital bed.
Carla Nasnas
The recipes at Flames are Carla's family recipes, passed down through generations. Her instinct for flavor and hospitality is the heart of every plate and every table.
Mikee Nasnas
Mikee helped open Flames Vero Beach and now runs it as owner and chef. The family trusts him with everything there, from the kitchen to the dining room.
Tiana Nasnas
Tiana brings the same family warmth and hospitality to every guest, rooted in the values she grew up with.
